This is my Hexagon Art.

I used a compass and a protractor for my design.

The thing I like best about my design is the colours because they make a nice contrast.

I would change the pace I worked at because I took too long.

Xtramath Result

This is my Xtramath result. As you can see I scored lots of smileys and two crosses. The two crosses are constantly mixing me up with the opposite number

My Timetable Progress

In Week 6 I scored 53. This is the best score I ever had. The trick I used is that I did the 9 tables going down and then the 8 and so on. I think I can still beat 53 seconds as Menchung got 45 seconds as her result.

Stan Walker Current Events

New Zealander Idol, Ex X Factor Judge and singer Stan Walker has recently released his new single to start Maori Language week. This song is sung in Te Reo Maori because it is Maori Language week. This song hopefully is a hit. This year theme, Te Kupu o te Wiki is all about learning a new song every week. Many brands and companies are getting behind this by making use of their weekly mailers. These are some of them . “It’s not just for people in New Zealand, but people from New Zealand who have moved all around the world that can connect to this song, to connect them back home. Hopefully it will encourage them to learn a bit more Te Reo.” said proudly by Stan Walker.

Ingredients

1 cup Chelsea White Sugar or Chelsea Organic Raw Sugar
100g butter, melted
3 eggs
3 bananas, mashed with a fork
½ cup low fat milk
1 tsp baking soda
150ml plain or fruit yoghurt (apricot works well)
2 cups plain flour
3 tsp baking powder

Method

Preheat oven to 160°C conventional or 140ºC fan-forced.
Grease a 21 cm round tin (with high sides) and line base with baking paper.
Beat sugar, melted butter and eggs until pale and creamy. Add the mashed bananas and beat well.
Heat the milk in the microwave until nearly boiling (approx. 1 min). Mix in the baking soda then stir into the banana mixture.
Add the yoghurt, flour and baking powder. Mix well and pour into the prepared cake tin. Bake for 45-50 minutes until the cake is cooked in the middle and just pulling away from the edges of the tin (insert a skewer into the centre, if it comes out clean it is cooked). Cool in tin for 5 minutes then release the sides and cool on a wire rack. When cold, swirl with icing.
